Velvet or Qdifah in persian was the cloth that people used to make towels in past. This towels were mostly made for brides. This piece is one of the best, oldest and hardest Pateh Aflaki patterns. 28 different patterns were used in this art piece and the pattern used in the center and 4 corners is red paisley. This is one of the most high quality Kalamkari arts and making it with velvet is such a hard job. This piece is over 220 years old.
