Mohammad Eskandari

Biography

Master Mohammad Eskandari was born in 1943 in the Darb Kushk neighborhood of Isfahan. From the age of 6, he began learning the Toreutics under Master Asadollah Khosravani and continued his studies until the age of 19 under Master Jamal Ashrafzadeh and Master Kamal Ashrafzadeh.

He purchased his own workshop in 1961 and taught Toreutics

to about 20 students.

Among Master Eskandari’s works are the metal decorations on the entrance doors of Imam Reza’s (AS) shrine, the doors of Hazrat Ali’s (AS) shrine, and several gold and silver doors for the Amir of Kuwait.

He has trained 400 students in the art of metalwork and has participated in more than 100 international exhibitions.

Currently, valuable works of Master Eskandari are displayed in museums in China and Russia.
