Description

Indians used cedar, peacock and elephants in their designs but painting cedar and peacock only was a Iranian tradition. Still like other bird and flower patterns it was called an Indian pattern by artists. Russian cloths were used in its lining and it obviously took a long time to complete. The colors used in this carpet are from the best quality and its called peacock feather blue. This piece is made in about 180 years ago.
